We at Ninety-Third Street School commit to the following:
 

·       Our students will become fluent readers and writers, as well as independent thinkers.
·       All students will demonstrate knowledge and skills in all content areas appropriate to their grade level.
·       All students, through an integrated language arts approach will focus on oral language development, will become effective communicators who consistently apply the process skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in all curricular areas.
·       Teachers, students, and parents will be full and equal partners in the educational process through active communication and involvement based on understanding and mutual respect for diverse backgrounds.
·       All students will develop critical thinking and problem solving skills which include, formulating their own problems, applying learned strategies in a variety of situations, and developing innovative approaches when seeking solutions.

Vision

 

 

 Our vision is that students entering our school at the kindergarten level will exit as literate fifth graders fully equipped to navigate their way through the middle and high school curriculums and pass the California High School Exit Exam. Our school will provide a rigorous instruction, based on the state standards, in order to attain a high level of academic achievement and performance from all of our students.
